Enhanced Video Distribution Modules |
The OnQ Structured Wiring System
provides a central hub for the distribution of video signals throughout the home.
The video interface is a half-width
module that fits easily into any of the three enclosures. The video interface
modules have clearly identified connectors for ease of installation. Modules are
available in 4, 6 or 8 room configurations.
An OnQ enclosure would normally be
equipped with one of the video modules. It is recommended that the video modules be
installed at the top right hand side of the OnQ enclosure.
Each video module includes a dual LNB
satellite antenna feedthrough to support digital satellite installations (DSS).
All OnQ video modules feature
state-of-the-art two way transmission capability, allowing for addressable set top boxes
and future Internet services.
The 2 x 6 and 3 x 8 video modules also
distribute modulated signals. The 2 x 6 module supports one modulated signal and the
3 x 8 module supports two modulated signals. A modulated signal originates from a
video source such as a DVD player or VCR. Video modulators are not included in the
OnQ video modules but will support them.

Passive Video Distribution Modules |
The OnQ Structured Wiring System provides a central hub for the
distribution of video signals throughout the home.
The video interface is a half-width
module that fits easily into any of the three enclosures. The Passive Video Modules
have clearly identified connectors for ease of installation. The modules are
available in 4, 6 or 8 television outlet configurations.
The OnQ Passive Video Modules can
either be used as stand-alone modules to distribute video signals throughout the home, or
in conjunction with the OnQ Enhanced Video Modules to add additional video outlets.
All OnQ video modules feature
state-of-the-art two way transmission capability, allowing for addressable set top boxes
and future Internet services.

Audio Distribution Module Location |
The OnQ structured
wiring Audio Module distributes a L/R stereo output to up to 3 rooms (3 L/R speaker
pairs). The half-width module "snaps" easily into any of the three
enclosure cabinets.

This device requires the use of impedance matching volume controls. |
